Ingredients
1lbchicken thighscut into chunks
1tspsea salt
1tspsugar
1tspgarlic powder
1pinchginger powder
3-4TbspMakgeolli
Dipping/Fry Batter
½cupall purpose flour
½cuppotato starch
½tspsea salt
½tspsugar
other ingredients
vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine batter ingredients, whisk and set aside.
In a big ziplock bag, combine chicken and rest of the ingredients. Massage chicken and set aside for 15-20min.
Heat oil in skillet. Once it's hot enough to make batter float in 3 seconds, it's ready. Meanwhile add half of the batter into ziplock bag and message into chicken. Then dip each chicken piece into leftover dry batter before dropping into hot oil.
Deep fry for about 6min or until golden and crispy.
